Happy World Environmental Day!

World Environment Day is on 5th June 2017. It happens every year, so you can lock it into your diary for next year! A lot of people are asking, what's World Environmental Day all about?

World Environment Day (WED) is a chance to reconnect with nature and celebrate the places that matter most to you according to the good guys over at World Environment Day. Created by the United Nations, it's time to go outside and enjoy everything natural that exists. The hope is that by appreciating nature, we will remember to be mindful of our actions and how it affects the earth and encourage us to protect our planet as much as possible.

You can read more about WED here including what activities are happening around the world.

In Perth, on the 5th June 2017 it was a beautiful day! I am so lucky to have world-class natural landscapes so close to my home. I am grateful and forever appreciative of this fact. Wherever you are in the world, I hope you had a moment to visit nature to appreciate its beauty. Today (and everyday), let's be aware of our actions so we can protect our environment as best we can.

Use the hashtag: #worldenvironmentday2017 to track the global actions online.
