THE DESIGN STORY: This earring design was inspired by a recent day trip to a beautiful river hidden away in the Perth hills. I was in awe of the elegant way the water flowed effortlessly around a u-shape bend of the river. In doing so, it was creating smooth and round pebbles in the riverbed that glistened in the sunlight.
For hundreds, if not thousands of years, this river had been flowing calmly as if the worries of the world did not exist. To me, it was so simple, yet so beautiful that I knew I needed to capture this hidden treasure into an earring.

♥ Made with bamboo and repurposed acrylic (previously destined for landfill). Earrings are 1.7″ (4 cm) in length and approximately 1″ (2.5 cm) in width with hypoallergenic surgical steel posts.
