So I'm going to let you in on some secrets about my business that you may not have known.

One Happy Leaf is a NOT a big business.

That's right, I don't have multiple employees working for me (unless you include my cat who supervises me). I don't even have an accountant or a brick + mortar shop. One Happy Leaf is a solo owned + run business. All run by me.

I am little. But I have a big heart.

In fact, all business activities are run from my little studio in sunny Perth, Australia. And I am proud to tell you that the very two hands that write this email are also the same two that design + assemble the jewellery pieces. I am the one who will respond to your emails, post on Instagram, pop your parcel in the post + let you know it's on its way to you. My jewellery batches are small + most importantly, not mass produced.

While the business is small, I do try to make a big positive changes in our world. My mission for One Happy Leaf is to leave the world a better place than when I first started in 2013. So I try to make positive changes to our environment, animals + people by:

In giving back to the environment - all jewellery pieces are made from Forest Stewardship Council certified bamboo.

In giving back to the animals - a portion of One Happy Leaf profits are given to organisations that rescue + care for abused animals (Animals Australia, World Animal Protection + Free the Bears).

In giving back to the people - the packaging is made from recycled paper collected in the beautiful developing island of Bali in Indonesia. The small business employs local women from the surrounding villages.
